Job Description:
Famous PUDN is seeking an enthusiastic, High Energy part - time, 10 - 20 hours a week, Thursday - Sunday, mandatory weekends Event Staff Member to join our team. This position combines the primary roles and skills of Customer Service & Sales. Some Operations participation is required in the store front. This position requires the ability to learn about our desserts that is infused with our Gourmet PUDN and how we take pride in servicing our customers. The job responsibilities requires, setting up at events, booking events, the ability to oversee and support all booked events as they take place.
Primary Duties, Responsibilities, and Tasks:
- Must be energetic and greet customers in a courteous and caring manner using personalized service.
- Preparation of cream, icings, mousses, sauces and production of PUDN products.
- Assemble all cakes, pastries, cookies, pies, hot and cold desserts and ensure that all a la carte dessert orders and amenity orders are completed.
- Monitor all finished products for quality and quantity.
- Cover events in San Diego, Riverside and Orange County. Some events may be out of state.
- Ensure that all items are correctly marked and delivered to the correct area of the event.
- Ensure organization and cleanliness of all equipment used for events.
- Assist with proper storage of all food; rotation, labeling and dating all products.

- Pack/unpack event boxes, take inventory of all products
- Performs other duties as requested such as moving supplies and equipment cleaning to ensure a safe working environment.
- Adheres to performance standards, company policies and procedures, as they relate to the department.
Physical Requirements of the Position:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- The Event Staff Member is regularly required to stand for long periods of time; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell
- The Event Staff Member must frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- The Event Staff Member must be flexible and be willing to do more than 1 event in a day.
- Setup and tear down event equipment such as tables, canopies, chairs, linen, etc
Required Qualifications
- Must have food experience
- Must be 21 and have a valid driver's license
- Sales experience preferred
- Must have a valid food handlers card
- Must have customer service experience
- Must have reliable transportation

- Ensure that all food items are prepared and served according to the PUDN Professional standards, specifications, and recipes.
- Ensure daily organization and cleanliness within work area.
- Assist with proper storage of all food; rotation, labeling and dating all products.
- Assist with ensuring that PUDN operation meets all Health Departments requirements for sanitation, such as proper rotation of food and daily cleaning of icebox, walk-ins, and refrigerators. Ensure that proper temperatures of walk-in and freezer are maintained.
- Performs other duties as requested such as moving supplies and equipment cleaning to ensure a safe working environment.
- Other duties as assigned by PUDN Professionals

- Must be able to work a Thursday/Friday morning shift
- Must have a valid food handlers card
